My Experiance

Hello, My name is Rosa Monteiro. I live and work in Vila Real (Portugal)

Since 2005 I have worked in the following areas and held the following roles:
Translation, Revision, Managing Projects, Coordination of the translation-
revision workflow in Production; Coordination of revision and Q&A stages;
Quality management and Internal Auditing.

Over 12 years’ experience as a proofreader and lead linguist. Involved in the
translation process of several technical texts including, among others,
translations/revisions for tourism, marketing, accounting, multiple corporate
documents, various technical manuals, and a significant volume of legal texts
(from contracts to court proceedings).

As a senior reviser, also in my previous job, I was involved in:
proofreading catalogues for museums from the Douro wine region;

proofreading opera librettos and musical plays for clients in the cultural sector;
translating (one) and revising books for children.

Since I became a freelancer, I have translated two books for a renown
Portuguese publisher.
